Dual Display Digital Multimeters
The M7000/M8000 Series of advanced analog/digital multimeters from Megger use the latest microprocessor technology to provide the most comprehensive measuring ranges and features in a hand held instrument.  There are four instruments in the range, the two M7000 models are for more general applications yet still incorporate many advanced features, whereas the M8000 models have been designed to provide greater accuracy with additional extensive measuring capabilities. The M7000 units offer rugged dependability for use in the most severe field conditions. Both the M7027 and M7029 are supplied in rugged yellow cases with wrap around rubberized holsters for added protection against mishandling. The main difference between the models is that the 7027 has a basic accuracy of 0.3% and the M7029 has a basic accuracy of 0.2%. Both models have dual displays and the choice of operation in the 4,000 count or the higher resolution 40,000 count mode.   | | | | M8000

The M8000 models provide more advanced features for applications requiring more extensive measuring capabilities. The M8037 is the is the top-of-the-line instrument. It measures TRMS dc and ac which will allow more accurate measurements of various waveforms: sine, sawtooth, square, pulse trains, triangle, spikes, etc., as well as distorted waveforms with the presence of harmonics. The M8037 also features a backlight display for easier reading in poorly illuminated areas. Both the M8035 and M8037 have basic accuracies of 0.08%, dual displays and the choice of operation in the manual or autoranging mode. |

Portable Appliance Tester

The MEGGER® PAT32 Portable Appliance Tester will perform the basic electrical safety tests required for portable appliances and equipment. It can be used to test domestic appliances, industrial appliances and power tools.  It performs seven tests on an appliance:- Circuit test
- Fuse check
- Earth continuity test
- 10 A Earth Bond
- 25 A Earth Bond
- Insulation test
- Extension leads (elt1 required)
The PAT32 will test appliances and tools rated at 240 V and 110 V a.c. since it is fitted with both BS 1363 and BS4343/CEE17 appliance test sockets. |
