The Kewtech KTD40 uses the latest in electronic design to produce a compact and feature packed test instrument. For instance it includes a full socket tester that will check for any mis-wiring at the socket. It will also check for the very hazardous condition of a reversal of line/neutral at the supply.
This instrument is capable of measuring true loop impedance, this gives more relevant information when testing PSC/PFC as the reactance of the suppliers transformer measured as well as the pure loop resistance.

The Kewtech KTD50 is a comprehensive RCD tester that tests type AC and ACS RCDs from 30mA to 500mA (see specifications pdf). Special RCD features include an auto, ramp and x 2 I ΔN test. In the auto-test mode the instrument automatically runs through all the six standard tests whilst the operator only has to stand by the RCD and reset it every time it trips. All the results can be viewed using the recall button.
The ramp test slowly increases tripping current until the RCD trips. The display is in mA. It will show up RCDs that are out of specification and those that will be susceptible to nuisance tripping. It can also be used to indicate which circuits have high leakage currents.
The x 2 I ΔN test satisfies the advisory note for verification of disconnection times as in the 17th Edition regulation 411.3.2.2 The Kewtech KTD50 also measures mains voltage and incorporates a full socket tester that checks for 18 socket wiring conditions. The Kewtech Fuse Finder consists of a transmitter, receiver plus mains and fused test lead set. Transmitter – connects to the circuit to be traced by either the mains lead or fused test lead set. The transmitter is powered from the supply so does not need batteries. It injects a signal into the circuit that is then picked up by the receiver at the fuse board. Receiver – this cleverly auto-tunes when scanning a bank of fuses / mcbs.
