ΩMegaSafe ISO 1 Ex Atex IS 500volt Insulation Tester

The phrase, to “megger it”, is generally applied to testing cable insulation at 500 volts. In hazardous areas an Intrinsically safe instrument is mandatory. Since the Atex regulations were introduced, it had become more difficult to source an Atex approved instrument that will safely “megger it”.
The ΩMegaSafe ISO 1Ex is a hand held megohmmeter for testing insulating resistances and bleeder resistors up to 2 TΩ for potentially explosive atmospheres. The ΩMegaSafe is Atex approved for use in hazardous areas, with Measurements between 10 kΩ up to 2 GΩ / 2 TΩ with high safety against spark formation.
