MEGGER MTB7671 Instrument Test Box
[Read More]
[Read Less] Specifications & Instructions
The MTB7671 is designed to provide confirmation that your testers continue to operate properly, and maintain their accuracy and consistency between calibrations. The NICEIC, ELECSA and Corgi among others now request evidence that your testers comply with this. The MTB7671 checks not only the basic functions of the testers, but also that the correct test current or voltage is being used during the test.
For example, a continuity test should not just give a result in ohms, but the short circuit test current should be greater than 200 mA and the open circuit voltage should be within the limits of 4-24 V.
The PASS/FAIL values are selected to ensure that where there is a published specification for a test parameter then the MTB7671 will test your tester to ensure that it meets these specifications using a series of simple Pass/Fail indications.
Additional test values are provided to ensure that the testers maintain consistent values across the range of their operating specifications. The values chosen for MTB7671 test points are the same as those supplied on all new Megger test instrument calibration certificates which means that you can confirm that the tester continues to provide results that are consistent with its original calibration points.
|
Main Features
|
- Tests the full range of a testers capability
- Does not trip RCD protected circuits
- Tests to the regulations BS7671, BS EN61557 and IEE On-Site Guide
- Checks insulation, continuity, loop, PFC and RCD functions
- Confirms testers continued performance between calibrations in Colour coded test functions

MEGGER DCM300E Combined Installation Tester
[Read More]
[Read Less] Specifications & Instructions
The DCM300E Earth Leakage Clamp designed primarily to check earth leakage
currents with a dedicated 30 mA range providing resolution down to 10 µA. The capabilities of the DCM300E extend to measuring currents of up to 300 A ac, making it a highly versatile instrument capable of taking current measurements in a wide variety of situations and applications. A typical application for the DCM300E would be the measurement of earth leakage current in a circuit where the GFCI repeatedly trips out. The measured result will quickly identify whether an excessive leakage current is causing the GFCI to trip, or if the GFCI itself is faulty. The DCM300E has 4 ranges: 30 mA, 300 mA, 30 A and 300 A with a best resolution of 0.01 mA. The analog-style bargraph of the DCM300E is very useful when monitoring changes, allowing the operator to easily interpret the rapidly changing bargraph rather than the digital display. Other key functions include the "Data Hold" feature which aids in measurements where there is a problem with accessibility or poor lighting, and the automatic power off feature that extends the battery life. This clampmeter was also designed with safety in mind and exceeds the latest safety design standards
IEC1010-2-32 and EMC requirements. Extra safety features have been designed into the DCM300E to provide a safer working environment for the user
|
Features Include:
|
- 0.01 mA resolution
- EMC and EN1010-2-32 compliance
- 30 mA, 300 mA, 30 A and 300 A range
