The ETI 226-040 Therma 20 Thermistor Thermometer is a hand-held thermistor thermometer which has been especially designed for use in the food processing and catering industries with HACCP, with due diligence and health and safety procedures in mind.
The ETI 226-040 Therma 20 Thermistor Thermometer displays temperature to 0.1°C over the range of -39.9 to 149.9 °C with a high system accuracy (probe and thermometer) of ±0.4 °C. The ETI 226-040 Therma 20 Thermistor Thermometer features an easy to read LCD which includes open circuit and low battery indication.
The ETI 226-040 Therma 20 Thermistor Thermometer is able to be used in low ambient working temperatures down to -20 °C, this meets the requirements of the European Standard EN13485 for the temperature monitoring of quick-frozen foods.
The instrument has an ergonomic, robust ABS case which includes 'Biomaster' additive thus reducing bacterial growth.
The low power consumption electronics are powered by three AAA batteries, which gives the instrument exceptional battery life of a minimum of five years. The thermometer's auto power off facility will turn the instrument off automatically after ten minutes. The ETI 226-040 Therma 20 Thermistor Thermometer includes an easy to use Lumberg screw-locking type connector which allows a wide range of interchangeable probes to be used.
