Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT Tester

Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT tester is a battery operated manual hand-held portable appliance tester with automatic sequences and 230/110V run test.  It is light weight and has a large easy to read display.  It can test electrical safety of Class I and Class II appliances. Fast continuity, 250 & 500V insulation, substitute leakage, extension lead and 110/230V run / leakage tests. The Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT tester indicates PASS/ FAIL results complying with the criteria of judgement defined in the IEE Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment: 2003.

As a guide, the IEC standard defines these two categories as follows:

Class I: Appliances which have a functional insulation throughout and an earth connected case. These are often described as earthed appliances.

Class II: Appliances which have both functional and additional insulation where any metal parts cannot become “Live” under fault conditions.
