Proving Units

Proving units are essential for checking the operation of voltage testers. Safe electrical working requires the use of a voltage indicator, that has been proven, with a suitable proving unit device, before and after use to ensure the voltage tester is working correctly. These are usually compact portable devices and we have proving units from Martindale, Kewtech and larger into the kV testing ranges from Seaward and Edgcumbe.
