Glanford Electronics was formed in 1993 as a management buyout syndicate, from the instrument and communications workshops of Westinghouse Electronics Limited, previously known as C.M.R. Electronics.

Since that time, we have become one of the leading suppliers of test equipment and calibration laboratories in the area, covering not only the UK but worldwide. We have gained ISO 9001:20015 certification. A copy of our certificate is available for your QA records on request, alternatively this can be downloaded from our website. The Glanford Electronics workshops are well equipped to provide a quality service in instrument repair and calibration, radio communications, and closed circuit television. The company’s Managing Director, Geoff Cowling, along with Director and Company Secretary Hazel Glew, with Emma Clayton, on reception, all fully backed up by our workshop staff, are on hand to attend to your requirements.

Calibration Service

We offer a calibration service on a wide range of instruments, from simple Multimeters, Installation testers, Gas Monitors, to a Marconi test set, or even Hand Dynamometers, with a normal turn round time of 3 days. See our Calibration Price List for some idea of the service we can offer. Calibrations are traceable to National Standards / UKAS Test Instruments.

Approved Service Centre

We are an “Approved Service Centre” for a number of manufacturers, and include a wide range of equipment. Crowcon Gas detectors, Megger, Martindale, Ametek Jofra, Kewtech, Fluke, Escort Temperature Loggers, Chauvin Arnoux, TPI, Sonel, Any product we sell on our website, we can support.
