Glanford Electronics, in addition to calibration and supply of equipment, offer a comprehensive repair facility on most types of electronic equipment. We are an “Approved distributor and Service centre” for a number of manufacturers.
We will quote a price, after equipment has been examined for repairs, before any work is undertaken, enabling you to assess the viability of repairs before work is carried out. You would only be asked to pay for carriage should you require equipment returning if a quotation is declined. An on-site repair service is also provided for all equipment. We are pleased to carry out repairs and service on behalf of other organisations.
Test Equipment
Test equipment of all types can be repaired in our ISO 9001/2015 workshop, by staff who have had manufacturers training and many years’ experience in electronic repairs. Most types of instrument are catered for include
- Intrinsically safe test equipment i.e. Metrohm.
- Temperature controllers.
- Power supplies.
- Oscilloscopes
- Cable location equipment e.g. Cats/Genny's
- 17th edition test instruments.
- Thermometers
- PAT Testers
- Gas detectors
- Combustion analyser
We can undertake repairs to any of the items of equipment listed on our calibration price list. Don't forget, we are not just an online shop, we can support all the equipment we sell.
Close Circuit Television Equipment
Closed circuit television equipment can also be repaired by us including:
- Cameras.
- Dome type cameras.
- Monitors.
- Video recorders.
- Multiplexers.
- Switchers.
Communication Equipment
Glanford Electronics can repair all types of communications equipment, from a small hand portable radio unit to a large base station or system. Trunked radio equipment can be repaired and reprogrammed in our workshop. Intrinsically safe units can be catered for.
