Martindale TEK500 Microwave Leakage Detector is an easy to use, low cost pass / fail microwave leakage detector suitable for commercial and domestic microwave ovens.

The Martindale TEK500 Microwave Leakage Detector is designed to comply with national standards on permitted exposure levels.
The Martindale TEK500 Microwave Leakage Detector includes a self-test which simulates a real microwave input to ensure the unit is working correctly at all times. This meter can test microwave ovens for potentially dangerous leaks with the accessories supplied.
Using the measuring beaker and thermometer supplied microwave power output may be assessed.

• Indicates at 1, 5, 10mW/cml. Tests to BS5175.
• Detection frequency range: 2450MHz ± 25MHz
• Sensor distance: The fixed cone on the rear of the unit should be in gentle contact for the standard 50mm separation

Indicators: Test position:

• All four LEDs should light and an audible tone will be emitted.
  • On position: Pass: Green “sys” LED only (<1mW per cm2)
  • Green “sys” LED & yellow “1mW” LED (<5mW per cm2)
  • Fail: Red “5mW” LED (>5mW per cm2), audible tone
  • Red “10mW” LED (>10mW per cm2), audible tone
